This is a legal document which sets out how SkiReunited handles data which
identifies you. You should read it in conjunction with the SkiReunited
Terms and Conditions, of which this Privacy Policy forms a part.
The privacy of our members' personal information is of prime importance
to SkiReunited. This statement describes the privacy practices we apply
for the SkiReunited Service and also expresses our approach to complying
with the United Kingdom data protection laws.
If we change this Privacy Policy, we will notify you of the changed
document in the same way as we notify changes to the SkiReunited Terms
and Conditions.

Information gathered on registration.
When you register for the SkiReunited Service, you provide your name,
your email address and some optional notes about yourself ("Registration
Information"). They are available to you, and with the exception of your
name can be changed through the "My Setup" area.
Sharing and use of information
- We will not supply or sell your personal data including email addresses
to a third party for commercial exploitation
- The only circumstances in which we will provide any of your personal
data to a third party for non-commercial purposes are those contained
in this Privacy Policy.
- Information submitted by Members
Once a Member specifies a resort and a time period, some or all
of the Registration Information held for that Member, except for the
email address, will be available at the listing for that resort and
time period.
- Email addresses
We do not directly make your email address available to anyone
on any screen of the SkiReunited Service. The only legitimate way of
making contact with a person found on the SkiReunited Service is for
a Member to enter a message which we will transfer on the Member's behalf.
The message is transferred within the SkiReunited Service and will only
be transmitted via email if the recipient has selected on the "My Setup"
area to be notified of a new message by email. The email notification
will not list the sender's email address. Members may include their
email address details within a message sent via SkiReunited but Members
take full responsibility for this action. Members may change their email
address at any time through the "My Setup" area. Members' personal notes
must not include their email address or contact details.
- Advertising
The SkiReunited Service may include interactive advertising for
other businesses. We may use, and provide to third parties, anonymous
demographic data provided by Members to target this advertising more
appropriately.
- Newsletters
We have regular and occasional emails, which Members can decide to receive
or not, according to their preferencesspecified in the "My Setup" area.
Changes in SkiReunited's business
If some or all of the assets which SkiReunited uses to operate its business
are acquired by a third party, we may transfer personal data we then hold
to that party.
Location of Processing
The personal information held by us is held on and processed by computers
situated in the United Kingdom.
Security
The database containing our Members' details is electronically secure
and direct access is restricted to SkiReunited personnel only. However,
access to certain information stored in the database viewed via the website
is available to any user of the website, and changes to a Member's information
in the database is possible via the website. Because of this, it is the
responsibility of each Member to:
- protect against unauthorised access to the information in the "My
Setup" area;
- ensure against use by anyone else of the SkiReunited Service through
the machine that Member uses while they are "logged on" to the SkiReunited
Service;
- log off or exit from the SkiReunited Service when not using it;
- keep his/her password secret.
Transmission policy
- You may choose to have your registration details removed from the
SkiReunited database at any time. To remove yourself please click here
and we will remove all your information from the database.
- We provide Members with the option to choose whether or not they receive
e-mailed correspondance such as notifications and newsletters. This
can be done by making appropriate selections while registering or in
the "My Setup" area.
Disclosure for legal reasons
We reserve the right to communicate such of a Member's personal information
as we hold to third parties which seek the disclosure of it, and which
make a legally compliant request for its disclosure.
